2025 Jack Williamson Lectureship
Back in April I was invited to speak on two panels at this annual lectureship at Eastern New Mexico University. I don’t get imposter syndrome until I’m on a panel. I feel great about being in a magazine along respected and award-winning authors, but sitting next to them on a panel is wholly different. And public speaking makes me nervous no matter what. All these things considered, it went well.
So, I was on this panel: “Speculative Fiction and Ethics” with John E. Stith, Lauren C. Teffeau and Ian Tregillis. And this one, “Found Family in Speculative Fiction: What Is Their Appeal” with Vivian Shaw, Ian Tregillis and Connie Willis.
The videos of the panels are supposed to be on ENMU’s YouTube channel, but I couldn’t find them. Maybe you can if you’re interested: LINK
